With EON you have to have (obligatory) a smart meter. I don’t have or want. I have 16 panels.
My FIT is with EON my suppler for gas and electric is Utility Warehouse. Once you change supplier for Gas and electric you don’t have to change your FIT payee. My FIT payments are as follows:-
Generated 71.85p/kwh: Exported 5.07p/kwh: the export is deemed to be 50% of generated.
The intention is to either get a V2H charger or if they keep delaying its release I will get batteries. Solar panels are 13 years old.
I give gas and electric readings at the end of each month and keep a daily chart of both gas and electric usage.
I agree it is better to keep chopping and changing suppliers on regular basis. ps. when with EON I agreed to a smart meter but didn’t say when.
