In my experience, architects can recommend builders and landscapers that they’ve worked with successfully before. IMO, it’s not hard to get along when everything is going well – what you really want is a team of people who can work stuff out when things go wrong and it takes time to build up that trust and experience. And yes, it’s definitely more expensive as you’ll be paying 3 lots of fees, but worth it, as they are all trained in different skills!
