Scaffholding very much depends on where/how high/shape of your chimney. If in any doubt, get it. It’s a bit expensive, I’d expect £400 ish. Re the plastering, if that’s traditional two-coat on a back-to-brick room, I’d say that’s a really good price! Make sure they use the right plaster for the age of your house, it might need lime.
