Kitchen doors recommendations please
Hello all!
About to embark on purchasing a kitchen; definitely Ikea carcasses and then I’m going to upgrade the doors. I need both wooden doors and colour-matched too. The architect has recommended Naked Kitchens, their lead times are quite long and was wondering if anyone had used a similar company for doors who they could recommend?

I’m in the process of using Plykea. Doors have arrived but not fitted yet. Lead times are approx 6 weeks but they say there’s a possibility of expediting.

Sounds similar to our kitchen! We did ours by buying full colour matched units (with doors) from DIY kitchens and a couple of units with no doors, which we then got ply doors from Naked Kitchens for. Naked kitchen doors are lovely quality, and though lead times weren’t super quick they were a very friendly easy company to deal with (as were DIY kitchens tbh!)

https://www.pluck.co.uk could be another option, but to be honest its not likely you will find shorter lead times that match the quality of Naked Kitchens and the attention to detail, everything then becomes more off the shelf. The lead times on things are always a challenge nowadays!

I have a pluck kitchen and adore it. when it was fitted the carpenter kept saying what outstanding quality it was compare to most he fits. I would highly recommend them.

I know a couple of people with Naked Kitchens and they wouldn’t buy from them again. Really bad wear and tear.

They were a supplier I’ve been looking at – my stuff has progressed a bit. I’ve been speaking a lot with ‘Holte’ and will likely go with them as I need a couple of bespoke pieces that they can also make for me.
Naked did get back to me in the end but it took a while and 3 chases – prices between Holte and Naked are similar
