Am looking for recommendations for someone to do building control drawings. We are removing chimney breasts and changing a partition wall, in W London.

    Many thanks in advance!

P.s am in a bit of panic as I did not realise we will need these and the architect technician did not mention this when he was prepping drawings for planning permission.

You’ll also need a party wall agreement if it’s the wall attached to next door.

We recently used Structures made Easy https://www.structures-made-easy.co.uk/

    Friendly, efficient, reasonably priced

Do they also do building regulations drawings? I have already structural engineer drawings and calculations but apparently building control officer needs “building control drawings”.

I’m doing a very similar project and the BC accepted the SE drawings/calculations that I already had. He said they were less detailed than he would prefer but he still accepted them. This is private BC, if it makes a difference. The BC have specified the specific requirements that need to be met to meet the regs, not the SE.

Thank you! That’s very helpful! We also have private, will try with SE drawings and maybe take it from there.
